This Christmas season, edamama has launched the Gift to Give online donation drive using its Gift Registry feature. Through this project, everyone can conveniently give back and pass on the Christmas spirit to children and women in need.
To make the season truly merry and bright, these two organizations have created their very own wish list via edamama’s Gift Registry. To make gift giving easier, you can easily pick and checkout your donations at the comforts of your homes any time from November 16 to December 24, 2021.
Simply follow the steps below:
Step 1: Make sure you’re signed in to your edamama account. Then click on the Gift Registry link of your chosen NGO below.
Step 2: Click on the "Buy Gift" checkbox and select the quantity of the items you wish to donate.
Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the Gift List and add a gift note for the organization. (Adding a note is optional, but it is nice to put a personal touch on your gift.) Then, tap "Buy Selected Gifts" to proceed to checkout.
Step 4: The delivery address is automatically set to your chosen organization's address at the checkout. Just select your payment option (credit/debit card, GCash, or Grabpay) and tap "Place Order."
Best of all, you don’t have to worry about the shipping fee because edamama will shoulder it for you!
Step 5: Get delivery updates on your order (donation) via email.
GIFT TO GIVE
Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home was founded in December 2006. Since then, they have provided a safe and secure family environment to abandoned, neglected, foundling, and surrendered children. They work tirelessly to help give a holistic life by providing shelter, spiritual formation, psycho-social, and socio-cultural services to these children.
Nila Valdez, executive director of Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home, shared: “We partnered with edamama because I believe the company has the heart and commitment of parents who care deeply for children. I consider myself as a parent of 39 babies and children in the orphanage and I feel edamama and their consumers could share their blessings so we could provide for the needs of the less fortunate children especially during this pandemic.”
This gift-giving season, empower Filipino women in need supported by I Support the Girls MNL by donating basic menstrual health and sanitary necessities.Meanwhile, I Support the Girls MNL is a network that collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and girls experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
“Being a mom is not easy, and that’s why when edamama approached us with this partnership, we were quick to jump in due to our aligned values on helping Filipina mamas. I Support the Girls MNL aims to empower Filipinas in need by providing them with basic menstrual health and sanitary necessities to help propel their journeys forward. Our work is in support of restoring and maintaining dignity for all girls, women, and menstruators including those in the journey of motherhood,” explained Trysh Banson, partnership lead of I Support the Girls MNL.
