Last week, popular Filipino actress, and new mama Iza Calzado, hosted a "Connect Takeover" on the Connect platform, engaging with fellow first-time mothers and sharing their experiences, challenges, and joys of motherhood.
Here are 10 questions Mama Iza answered!
1. Mama Iza was asked about her postpartum feelings. She said there were a few challenges but with help and support from loved ones, she became happy and healthy.
2. She was also asked the cutest things baby Deia has done so far. Mama Iza shared that she’s been laughing a lot.
3. Another question thrown was what she craved for during pregnancy, or something that Baby Deia was “pinag-lihian” from. She mentioned fruits and surprisingly, Olive Oil!
4. A powerful story was also shared by Mama Iza about her breastfeeding story. She said she isn’t exclusively breastfeeding and is thankful for every drop of breastmilk that comes out of her.
5. Mama Iza was also asked how she and Papa Ben was now. She shared that they’re adjusting and happy!
6. An Encantadia fan also asked Mama Iza about the transition to being a mom. She shared that it’s been quite a journey and she’s taking it one day at a time.
7. One question was also about Mama Iza’s body changes and how she felt about it. Iza mentioned that she definitely has her fair share of insecurities dealing with post partum.
8. Mama Iza also described her mama journey in 1 word and she said, FULFILLING!
9. Mama Iza was also asked for an example of an unforgettable milestone of Baby Amihan. She said everytime she responded with a smile.
