Given the value and importance of the summer season for families, bean proudly collaborated with local visual artist and environmental advocate Anina Rubio to launch a special swimwear collection that features nature’s beauty in her designs.
Anina Rubio is a Filipina multidisciplinary visual artist and also an environmental advocate who is focused on crafting designs, and other works, to depict nature’s beautiful sceneries. One of her main goals is to inspire others to promote sustainability and conservation.
Her designs in the newly launched swimwear collection aims to provide little one’s exposure to Philippines’ beautiful destinations. The overall theme of the swimwear is colorful marine life and sea animal prints. All of the swimsuits are designed for sun protection, and also carry the Maximum Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating of 50+. Included in the said collection are beach ponchos that are made in fabric that will bring comfort while on the beach, specifically microfiber suede that will help in resisting sand and help in drying you and your little ones quickly. Swimwear Collection 2023
In this newest Swimwear Collection of bean x Anina Rubio, your little ones will have a better summer experience as they take a dip in the pool, run around the beach, or make sandcastles of their own. Every design in this collection will help you teach your beans of different sea animals and the beauty of nature in general. Apart from the amazing designs, the material used in these swimsuits and beach ponchos are sand resistant so it can provide your little ones comfort and protection while having fun under the sun!
Here are some of the information you need to know about the newly launched collection:
STYLES. There is a variation of styles in this swimwear collection – there are 3-piece sets, hooded suits, one-piece suits, and also a beach poncho that converts to a beach mat. Style names are inspired by different beaches.
TEXTURE and FABRIC. The swimwear is made out of 85% polyester 15% elastane. In addition, the fabric has built in UV protection of UPF 50+. The poncho/beach mat is made out of a lightweight microfiber suede (200gsm) for comfort and protection, quick dry, and is also sand-resistant.
PRICE RANGE. The prices of the products in this collection range from PHP 799 up to PHP 1,199. This will differ for the girls’ and boys’ products.
SUITABILITY. The swimsuits are made for ages 6 months up to 24 months, and from 3 to 8 years old.

Panglao Boys (Shark Print, Yellow)For mamas who want their little ones to have a hooded swimsuit, Panglao is the recommended style for you. Priced at Php 1,199, it has a design of a shark print in yellow.
Siargao (Shark Print Yellow)Another design that is available is Siargao, which is a 3-piece swimsuit priced at PHP 1,199 that comes in two variants: seahorse print in blue and shark print in yellow. For those that prefer a one-piece swimsuit, Anilao is also available which is priced at PHP 999 and also has two variants – seahorse print in blue and shark print in yellow.
Tingloy (Seahorse Print Navy)Aside from the said swimsuits, Tingloy is a beach poncho that is priced at PHP 1,199, with a seahorse print in navy.
Girls’ Swimwear
For your little girls, bean x Anina Rubio also has a variety of designs and styles to choose from! They also have Panglao available, which is a one-piece hooded swimsuit that has snaps at the crotch area for Mamas to have an easier diaper change for their little ones. It has a design of a turtle print in pink. This is priced at PHP 1,199. The Coron design is a one-piece swimsuit that has two types – one is a turtle print and the other is a starfish print. Both are sold at PHP 799 per piece. The Anilao print, priced at PHP 999, is also a one-piece suit that comes in both seahorse print and shark print that are multi-colored.
Aside from these swimwear, our girls also have their own beach poncho called Lian, which is priced at PHP 1,199. The design is in a turtle print.
