edamama Launches First Full-Scale Store in the Philippines, Gears Up to be The Leading Omnichannel Parenting Brand in the Country

Manila, 25 March 2023 – edamama, an e-commerce platform that aims to simplify decision-making for parents and bring everyday joy in raising their families, has opened its first-ever full-scale store in SM Southmall, Las Piñas. The store is a significant milestone for edamama as it marks the company's plans for aggressive expansion into the offline space.
Launched in May 2020 by husband and wife founders Nishant D’Souza and Bela Gupta, edamama offers a personalized shopping experience through content, community, and commerce-driven strategies that simplify decision-making for parents. The store also features an increasing assortment of brands exclusive to edamama, including fast-growing local lifestyle brand bean and Australian retail giant Anko (of the Kmart Group), offering high-quality and affordable apparel, baby gear and kids’ toys and learning materials at unbeatable prices.
