Germs are everywhere. Is your family truly safe inside your home?
Maintaining cleanliness should always be of prime importance, especially in a place where you spend the most time. Keep your family safe and comfortable inside your home—and out of the doctor’s office—by getting rid of harmful elements that can cause illnesses.
Try these suggestions.
1. Make cleaning part of your daily routine.
Do not use your busy lifestyle as an excuse. Think of it as preventative cleaning in between deep cleaning sessions. Allot 10 to 15 minutes a day to clean and clear the clutter in your abode.
2. Wash towels regularly.
Dirty and damp towels can spread viruses, fungi, and bacteria. So make sure to wash and replace your bath and hand towels as frequently as possible. Use a gentle detergent to help remove stains and a fabric conditioner to keep your towels soft.
3. Practice safe food preparation techniques.
Do not let anyone get sick from food-borne diseases. Ensure kitchenware and tools are properly cleaned using an antibacterial dishwashing liquid, and that preparation and cooking surfaces are sanitized with an all-natural surface disinfectant
4. Keep areas dry and clean.
Warm and wet surfaces are the perfect breeding ground for bacteria. So wipe your kitchen counter and bathroom floors dry to cut down on bacterial build-up.
5. Exercise proper handwashing.
Proper hand hygiene helps prevent the spread of infectious diseases at home. Remind everyone to make handwashing with soap and water a healthy habit at home.
6. Consider using UV sterilizers.
UV sterilizers can disinfect various items—gadgets, jewelries, parcels, books and documents, groceries, and dry goods—so they prove to be a worthy purchase.
