Does it seem like your little one’s toys have taken over the house? Has cleaning up become a nightmare because you constantly need to pick up blocks and puzzle pieces in almost every corner of your home?
Let these suggestions help you clear the toy clutter so you don’t look like you’re living in a sea of toys.
1. Do a toy audit.
What about doing some spring cleaning? Keep only the toys that your child actually plays with. Sometimes, most of the toys scattered all over your home aren’t really needed. This will make it easier for you to figure out how much space you need for keeping toys around. Some toys can also be donated so other kids get the chance to love them too.

2. Allot a storage space specifically for toys.
From old boxes to crates, there are many things in your home you can transform into a dedicated space for toys. Place them somewhere your child can easily access and educate them to put their toys back in that space when they’re done playing with them.
The Hamlet Kids Room Inzerva Kids Toy Storage is a stylish toy organizing tool, not to mention it has 6 pullout bins to help you segregate toys. You can also use the Baboo Basix Toys Kids Monsters and Aliens Storage Bin so it’s easier for your child to just shoot those toys in.

3. Keep the smaller pieces in one place.
Truth be told, the smaller pieces of toys are sometimes the ones that create the biggest mess in your home. Never step on a LEGO ever again (hopefully!) by keeping tiny toys in storage. Your best buddies: Ecozips Reusable Storage Bag or Shimoyama Lego Toy Storage Box.
4. Creatively store and organize toys using a trolley cart.
The trolley cart has been a favorite buy in recent years because of its flexibility. You can use it as a bar cart, kitchen organizer, or craft station buddy. Do you know how else to use it? As a toy organizer! At least you can easily bring the Mother Material PH's Storage Trolley Cart with you when you need to scour through the house to pick up toys.

5. Maximize vertical space.
Got limited space? Then go vertical! If you have toys you can hang, you can simply use hanging baskets to place them in or get the Hamlet Kids Room Ikoria Kids Wall Hanger for toys you can hang.
6. Don’t forget the labels.
There is a certain joy we feel when we look at organized and properly labeled items. The same goes for toy bins. It’ll make it easy for you and the kids to look for items you need.
7. Group toys accordingly.
If possible, group toys of the same category and place them in one storage bin or box. This is best applied when your child has too many of the same kind.

8. Get furniture pieces that double as storage.
For space-challenged homes, the trick is to purchase furnishings that serve a double purpose. The Hamlet Kids Room Gisela Kids Storage Bench, for example, can be a seat and a toy storage in your kid’s room.
