The cleft palate nipple is made of high-quality medical-grade silicone and fits any standard baby bottle, but leaking or nipple collapse may occur, depending on the fit of the air valve. The Cleft Palate Nipple has three openings (pits) so that milk flows smoothly to babies who have problems suckling. Also, one side of the nipple is thinner than the other side so that milk flows with less effort as compared to regular kind of nipples.
