Get your kindergartener ready for first grade with Smart Start: Math Stories and Activities. Developed by teachers, this colorful early learning series introduces math skills in creative ways. Each unit introduces important math vocabulary and helps children recognize math in the world around them.  As children complete each activity, they gain confidence and gradually progress to completing more difficult tasks. Each unit includes Math stories: audio read-aloud stories help children experience math with real-world problem-solving. Math practice activities: introduce one skill/concept per week. Write It! activities: build math vocabulary, beginning writing, and fine motor skills.
