It’s no secret that Mama Vien Iligan and her family have captured the hearts and giggles of many Filipinos, all thanks to her openness in sharing the Velasquez Family’s daily adventures. And so it was a no-brainer for the edamama team to invite her to the Family Expo because it was a great chance to get to know her even better as she navigates through motherhood.
Here are 5 things we learned about her during her expo visit!
Who would have guessed that when asked about her pregnancy cravings, her unexpected response would be "dinuguan"? It was a delightful surprise that Mama Vien craved food like dinuguan, menudo and a few karinderya style food when she was pregnant! 
It was the hospital’s complimentary food! We asked Mama Vien what she ate right after giving birth and like many mamas, she indulged in a hearty steak dish–definitely a well-deserved meal! 
She seemed to be in the Christmas spirit already since one of the items that caught her eye as she went around the booths was bean’s Red & Stripes Pajama Set. 
Getting Mavi to sleep when he was a newborn was a struggle for Mama Vien. And with Viela, she found swaddling a life-saver. Additionally, she mentioned that when combined with soothing white noise, nighttime became a breeze. 
She just started her own clothing line called Muyvien Apparel! It’s a modern minimalist collection that includes sweatshirts, pants, and versatile shorts for kiddos that will surely keep your little one comfy all day long.
